As a travel or local contract therapist with MDI Medical, you have the opportunity to earn a lucrative income while working in exciting settings across the country. MDI's premium pay and benefits package includes the following features:

Medical coverage – We offer you the option of a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Preferred-Provider-Organization Plan (PPO) and a High Deductible ? High Premium plan (HDHP). These plans are offered through Blue Cross & Blue Shield. MDI also now offers a MiniMed plan through AETNA, which is 100 percent paid by MDI for single employee coverage. Because of MDI's contribution, the cost of this plan for family coverage can be as low as one-fourth of what you would pay for regular health insurance coverage.

Dental coverage – MDI offers you the option of participating in our Dental Plan offered through United Concordia Insurance Company. You have the flexibility of choosing any dentist you prefer.
Vision coverage – MDI offers a Voluntary Vision Plan through Spectera (UHC). Employees and dependents may visit the vision provider of their choice. When you visit a Spectera participating provider, you will receive most services and eyewear at the copay level.
Short Term Disability – MDI offers a short-term disability product through UnumProvident on a voluntary basis. This benefit will replace 50% of your weekly income (up to a $1,000 maximum), should you become disabled.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – MDI has engaged UnumProvident to provide this no-additional-cost program which includes telephone consultations, face-to-face consultations and educational materials for childcare/eldercare referrals, personal relationship counseling, legal consultations, financial consultations and stress management.
Travel Assistance Program – UnumProvident also supports our travelers with programs, including no-cost assistance in event of a medical emergency when traveling 100+ miles from home, guaranteed hospital admission, emergency medical evacuation, medically supervised return travel to your home, and prescription replacement.
